Derek Wigmore went to sea in 1975 as an apprentice to a British Shipping Company, and spent 14 years with the same Company advancing to senior rank status, and holds a British Master Mariners Foreign Going Certificate of Competency with no restrictions, and in addition, a HND in Nautical Science.

Derek Wigmore has been actively employed as a Marine Surveyor in Durban for the past 39 years, with extensive experience in all aspects of surveying, including a period of employment with the Department of Transport Marine Division as a Ship Surveyor and examiner. During this period, the portfolio encompassed, amongst other things, small craft and commercial fishing vessels.

Warren England joined the company in 2009 and has been involved in the shipping industry since 2002. Warren was initially employed as an agricultural operations co-coordinator but soon rose to higher positions over a seven year period. Warren has had significant experience with the loading / inspection of all agricultural products and other similar cargoes whilst gaining valuable experience in other survey fields offered by D.G.Wigmore & Associates.

Tanzeel Anwar joined the company on the 15/02/2023 as a Junior Marine Cargo Surveyor.His previous work experience was in short term insurance. Tanzeel has worked as a tally clerk and made his way to being a supervisor and has extensive knowledge in handling of vessels on behalf of the client and company ensuring the discharge/loading goes according to the clients requirements.

Nicholas Leeflang joined the company on the 16/02/2023 as a Junior Marine Cargo Surveyor . Nicholas has a wide knowledge of tally services together with and being involved in and comparing berthing schedules, ID100s for TNPA, container bookings forecasts for planning and managing of the empty containers at port of load and discharge.
